A preserva\u00e7\u00e3o da liberdade individual, sendo a raz\u00e3o e o fundamento das regras de conviv\u00eancia em sociedade, \u00e9 o primeiro e mais importante limite \u00e0 atua\u00e7\u00e3o do Estado.<\/span><\/p>\n Dependentes de um Estado-pap\u00e1, tudo \u00e9 motivo de coletiviza\u00e7\u00e3o, tudo sujeito a permiss\u00e3o e distribui\u00e7\u00e3o, sustentada por moralismos question\u00e1veis, que de todos tira para a alguns dar. A falta de transpar\u00eancia gera corrup\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n Portugal est\u00e1 preso a um Estado pesado, opaco e ineficiente, que se serve de n\u00f3s em vez de nos servir. Seguran\u00e7a Social do empregador e do empregado, sendo que em m\u00e9dia os portugueses levam cerca de metade do sal\u00e1rio bruto para casa. <\/span><\/p>\n Defendemos, de forma clara, uma enorme redu\u00e7\u00e3o dos impostos, no n\u00famero de impostos existentes e no enorme peso de cada um deles, preferindo a IL, face ao atual quadro, o tributo sobre o consumo aliado ao incentivo \u00e0 \u201ccapitalismo de compadrio\u201d, as rela\u00e7\u00f5es de amigos e redes de interesses entre o Estado e certas empresas, \u00e0 custa dos contribuintes. Para isso h\u00e1 que reduzir drasticamente o peso do Estado, que atualmente pesa quase metade da economia. A Iniciativa Liberal prop\u00f5e-se a ser o primeiro partido a efetuar uma verdadeira redu\u00e7\u00e3o da d\u00edvida p\u00fablica.
